Why donate to traps?

TRAPS is a non-registered, autonomous and non-paid collective. At the contrary of non-profits, where most money goes to employees and small bosses, all donations will be used to support community-building for trans women and transmisogyny-affected people.

Contributing to our general funds will support our free suppers, our support network as well as a variety of activities every month. Contributing to our Mutual Aid Fund will support marginalized and poor trans women, femme, and other transmisogyny-affected people.

Why donate to the support for Community initiatives?

We have chosen to fund the self-organization of transfeminine communities in response to structural inequalities in our collectivities. It is a fund dedicated to supporting people and groups who start projects in their community. The first round of this fund is reserved to support the creation of BIPOC transfem collectives.
